First, I didn't realize we could add our own lyrics! oops. Well, either way, generally I'm really more into trying to create a mood with music than lyrics. I kind of went with a dark side of the moon VS wizard of oz feel, remembering on the scary parts of the movie in the start of the song and a happy ending that kind of follows the movie in that dorothy makes it home. The guitar work is from Todd Cushing (MA) and he provided this from 2007, which I used to produce the track. I also use a JUNO 6 analog synth (gives that scary sound that seems like it's one of those flying monkey creatures) and Korg Triton Extreme for piano. I wanted a warm overall sound - lofi like the movie. The dog barking sample is an added treat to fit the vibe for wiz of oz, this was Todd's dog!! I probably could have spent longer tweaking the mix, but im not a sound engineer!! cheers hope you like it, if so check out some of my other work at: www.myspace.com/jconlonproductions

It was warm and had a hip night club feel. Finally, the dog barking cracked me up a bit (I love dogs) but the fact of the matter is it worked.
